Micayla (AKA Mica) Kates!
Hi, I'm Mica! Ever since I was a young girl, I have been attending women empowerment summits! My first conference was at the S.H.E Summit in 2015! Since then I have had an immense passion for women empowerment and self-made, women entrepreneurs. Through the years, I met so many incredible women in so many different industries. Until one day, I came across women in STEM. I immediately became fascinated and immersed my young self into the technology industry. I have attended many STEM programs, but I began to notice a lack of girls in my programs. I looked into it. I discovered that women were a minority in the technology industry. I then recognized how important innovation of young girls around the world was. As I became older, I knew I wanted to help women supporting women around the world, in any way I could. So I decided to combine both of my passions, women empowerment and fashion. I learned to navigate code and created Shop With Mica, and successfully made a platform where shopping was revolutionized! I created a concept in which something as simple as shopping, was actually doing some good in the world. At Shop With Mica I donate 50% of the profits to women empowerment charities! Right now I am focusing on The Malala Fund, as I have created an incredible relationship with them! Help support by simply shopping. xoxo -mica
Mica is creating a new shopping experience for women who understand the power of their purchase. Women are one of the most sought after demographics, accounting for more than half of all consumer spending in America. It's time there was a platform that grasped the complexity and intricacy of our power in the market. That's why I created Mica. The circular platform that offers designs from female-founded brands and gives 50% of all profits to charities that empower women.

This month we are supporting The Malala Fund. An organization dedicated to voice the desires of young girls in the world, and ensure that every girl has acess to twelve years of free, safe, quality education. Through the power of Malala Yousafzai, girls all around the world are abled to gain a remarakable education. The Malala Fund is incredibly astonishing and here at Shop With Mica, our mission is to support women lead missons. In our opinion, it is definitely worth shopping for.

What makes this charity special: "Malala and Ziauddin Yousafzai founded Malala Fund in 2013 to champion every girl’s right to education. The Fund is creating a more equal world by assuring thaat all girls can go to school. The Malala Fund works in regions where the most girls miss out on secondary education.
